留まる [とどまる: TODOMARU]  (1) to remain, to abide, to stay (in the one place)
解散 [かいさん: KAISAN]  breakup, dissolution.
進路 [しんろ: SHINRO]  (1) route, course, (2) career, university choices, course (of future life).
勧める [すすめる: SUSUMERU]  to recommend, to advise, to encourage
洗練 [せんれん: SENREN]  polish, refinement.
薄ら [うすら: USURA]  (1) (uk) thinly, lightly, slightly, (2) hazy, fuzzy, (3) dim, faint, slight
でかい  huge, gargantuan.
地方都市 [ちほうとし: CHIHOUTOSHI]  provincial city, provincial town, suburban city, regional towns and cities
否めない [いなめない: INAMENAI]  (exp) cannot deny, undeniable, incontrovertible
[あえて: AETE]  (uk) dare (to do something), venture (often overcoming reluctance, or in the face of probable failure), take upon oneself, challenge, presume, (there is no) need to, (don't) go as far as, definitely (not).
